Another year has passed and Christmas is fast approaching. Will you once again consider joining with Samaritan’s Purse and other churches to create a gift-filled shoe box for children living in poverty? These will be sent to children who are victims of war, poverty, famine and disease, and have often never received a gift before.
Brochures are now available in the foyer – maybe take an extra to share with a friend or family member?
There are a few rules to consider:
- Remove all unnecessary packaging;
- No toothpaste- they eat it;
- No liquids;
- No gambling or religious items.
Suggestions are given in the leaflet (or click the link below). Shoeboxes must not be larger than a sheet of A4 paper. A few flat pack shoeboxes are available from the office for a donation towards costs.
