Thank you message from Cogs
Rev Coral Cogs Smith wishes to thank everyone for the lovely goodbyes and words of encouragement that I have received here. I wish BUC folk all the best for the future. The last four years here have been good ones and it has been delightful to be a part of the Community Classes, (now left in Jacqui’s capable hands) and the Family Ministry that is unfolding. It is exciting to think of how a Family Ministry Worker will continue that work! In some ways my time at Blackwood has been shorter than I planned when I came here, none the less, it is a privilege to have been a part of the ongoing development of strategies to share Godly love in the “Changing Landscapes” we find ourselves in. And at the end of the day, to me that’s what ministry is all about – Encouraging Godly love and the flames of the Spirit wherever and whenever we can.
Farewell and thank you, Blessings Cogs.
PS Dave and I will still be living in the same house in Coromandel Valley, so don’t be surprised if you run into us at the supermarket or whatever!
