The death of someone we love is one of the most difficult and trying times of our life.

Our caring, sensitive and experienced ministers will assist you to prepare a funeral that is honouring, respectful and as individual as the person it commemorates.

We trust that the service and facilities of our church will help make your loved one’s funeral a special time of remembrance and a celebration of their life.

Minister

The minister conducting the funeral will spend time with you to develop a service, which celebrates the life of the deceased and allows you to work through your grief. If your loved one had any special requests or wishes for their funeral service, please discuss this with the Minister.

Counselling

The minister is also available for grief counselling for your family and can recommend other agencies for counselling for you.

Music

The choice of hymns and songs can be discussed with the minister and when necessary, with the organist. Copyright on music must be observed, and for this reason the use of CD’s is discouraged.

Flowers

You are welcome to organise your own floral arrangements.

Photographs and videos

As a general rule there is no objections to the videoing of the service, provided that it does not intrude and that no bright lights are used

Data Projector

Data projector and screen can be provided if you wish to have a multi-media presentation.

Facility charges

There is no charge for the use of our facilities as we believe funerals are part of our ministry to others.

Space is reserved for the hearse at the front of the church.

Those attending the funeral may park in the church car park behind the church. Enter the car park from Coromandel Parade.
