LEARN ABOUT:

Indigenous heritage & culture of the area; Ngarrindjeri traditions and relationships to the land, waters, trees, plants and animals.

  • Field trips

  • Burial grounds

ACTIVITIES:

  • Walking trail
  • Basket weaving
  • Tour the northern end of the Coorong
  • Night teaching sessions
  • Museum tour

Each activity costs $5 – $10 per person for a minimum of 20 people.

Hire of kayak is $20/person/half day ($40/full day)

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:
Each evening will involve social activities in the big communal hall.

COSTS:
For use of private rooms, shower/toilets, kitchen and dining room (per person per night):

  • Adults – $27
  • Children – Free

Cabins: $70/cabin/night)
Caravans: $15/person/night
Tents:

  • Adults – $10/person/night
  • Children – Free

FOOD:
Bring your own food for breakfasts and lunches.
EVENING MEALS TO BE ARRANGED.

CAMP COORONG

The Centre has the following facilities:

  • A fully equipped kitchen and dining room with conference facilities
  • Male & female toilets & showers
  • 2 cabins (4 persons/cabin)
  • Family rooms (2-4 persons)
  • 2 fully-equipped cabins with kitchen/living room and own bathroom/toilet
  • Tent sites on the grounds of the Centre and bush camping on the shores of the Coorong
  • Rainwater for drinking
  • Coin-operated washing machine and dryer
