The walking group is an informal all-age activity that meets on the last Sunday of each month. It is a great way for us to get to know each other better. Anyone can take responsibility for organising a walk. This gives us a variety of walks and varying degrees of difficulty. Most walks are able to be managed by every age group.
The walks usually take between one and two hours (usually, but not always) commencing at around 2:00 pm, as determined by that walk’s organiser. During the summer, our walks can make use of the evening daylight saving hours. The start point for our walks is usually within a half hour’s drive from the church.

3p Urrbrae House/Waite Gardens: Arboretum, Springfield and the Urrbrae House Gardens. Meet at the carpark at the Urrbrae House end of Walter Young Avenue, Urrbrae (map). Walter Young Avenue runs off Fullarton Road just south of the Cross and Fullarton Roads intersection into the Arboretum.
2pm Justice for Refugees! Meet in Victoria Square

2p Wittunga Botanical Gardens and Magpie Creek. Meet at the home of Bonnie & Bruce Marriot (map). Followed by freshly perked coffee!
2p Sturt Gorge Recreation Park. Meet in the park opposite 54 Bonython Way, Craigburn Farm (map). It won’t be too hilly… really!
2p Old Mitcham Quarries Walk. Meet at the end of High St, Belair (off Caroline St – map). Note: The first 200 metres of this walk are rough and rocky; bring your walking poles!
