The devastating floods in Pakistan, which have entered their third week, have now affected 13.8 million people – one of the most immense humanitarian disasters of our time. Without a massive scale up of assistance, this disaster will continue to perpetuate the cycle of loss and destruction that faces the people of Pakistan.
