Three Gorges Dam, China

Continuing Learning – Thursday, 10th of May 2012

This Thursday May 10, 2012, Bob Roach, a retired engineer, will share with us images and reflections on his visit to the Three Gorges Dam in the Yangtze River, China.

This monumental work of civil engineering, taking 17 years to complete, has brought both benefits and losses to those dependent on it for trade and livelihood.

Morning tea is served at 10.15am and session begins at 10.30 for an hour.
