Continuing Learning 2015: Engineering a City
The first series of Continuing Learning, with the title “Engineering a City”, is a three-week presentation by Richard Venus covering some of the early heritage of the city of Adelaide.
The “Engineering a city” talk this week went extremely well and was very interesting. Did you know that when Colonel William Light planned Adelaide there was no plan or thought of how to get to North Adelaide? There were no bridges and people were killed getting from one side of Adelaide to the other? Very interesting indeed!
