ROUNDABOUT UPDATE (October 2018)   Latest Changes and Timeline

The latest information on the Roundabout Update shows a number of changes which will affect the Church.

The War Memorial will be relocated close to the present path beside the Church Garden with the 3 flagpoles between it and the roundabout.

The Dept of Planning Transport and Infrastructure are now saying that there will be NO PARKING at any time on Main Road in front of the Church.   The Church Property Committee are attempting to have this reviewed but the previously agreed plan to allow parking at “off peak” times and weekends is unlikely to be reinstated.

After Armistice Day (11^th November) the soldier will be removed for restoration and work on the new roundabout will begin in the first quarter of 2019.    More information is available at www.infrastructure.sa.gov.au/blackwood_roundabout
