The isolation of our friends out bush is something we work to decrease. Through Bush Chaplaincy and our Outback Links program, we aim to bridge the divide in emotional and practical support for so many Aussies living in regional and remote Australia. Bronwyn and Gordon reached out to Frontier Services in a state of panic when they realised they weren’t going to be able to attend their son’s wedding because there was no one they trusted to look after their farm. Funds raised at the Great Outback BBQ enabled Frontier Services to send Outback Links volunteers to Bronwyn and Gordon, and ensured they were able to see their son wed his new bride!
