BUC KITCHEN NEWS
Recently, those of you who use the kitchen, may have noticed that Nancy Cranwell, with the assistance of Sue Fisher, has taken a large amount of time to clean out all of the fridges and freezers in the kitchen.
Unfortunately she did find some rather nasty surprises of decomposing food, as well as things dated to 2019 and lots of empty sauce bottles.
It would be super if we could all work together to keep our storage spaces in tip top order.
If you are a group who uses the fridges or freezers, please let us know at the office if you require a space for your use i.e. messy church, mainly music etc. We will then label your area for you to use, store your things, so that they are easy to find and not used by random visitors (yes this does happen).
If you are an individual or a group, and you leave things in the fridge, can you please label them as yours and also date them the date they have been opened. Markers will be left in the kitchen in a jar in the left cupboard above the left sink.
Please note that every 3 months all fridges will be gone through for cleaning and anything perishable or not dated will be removed.
We hope that everyone will enjoy having a lovely sparkling refrigeration experience when they use the BUC kitchen into the future.
Thanks so much for your assistance.
