BIKE SHED NEWS
I know everyone at the BUC loves to hear about the programs that run as a part of the hub of this community. There is a lot that goes on here and if unless you happen to be about when the action is occurring, its easy to miss some of the wonderful goings on.
Over the last two weeks, the bike shed team of volunteers have delivered over 5o bikes to the refugee association at Salisbury, that’s two full trailer loads!
Darryl Whittner kindly sent me the above photo to show just how many bikes can fit into one trailer. It’s a lot.
Transport and getting about is a fundamental part of life that enable good mental health, strong community connection and the opening of the doors of opportunity for people. Well done guys, I am certain that all of your efforts are making the most amazing difference to people lives in so many places.
