SA Youth Camp Out
Making a World of Difference
Calling all youth 12-17, and any who are young at heart who have a wish to volunteer and provide assistance; SAYCO (SA Youth Camp Out) is on the October long weekend this year, 1-3 October 2011 at Woodcroft College, McLaren Vale. The guest speaker this year is Ralph Mayhew, and it’s a time for worship, community and learning with other teenagers from around the state.
16-17 year olds can be Junior Leaders if they wish, and will need to apply before 16 Sept and have a mentor.

Blackwood and Belair Uniting are combining forces to send a group, if you wish to participate, cook or volunteer, please contact Heidi McNamara at yag4youth@live.net.au before 16 September when registrations are closing. Can you provide a tent, camping gear or contribute to food for the weekend? All adult volunteers must have a valid UC Screening Authority valid at the time of the camp. There will be an adult volunteers meeting on 22 Sept (to coordinate cooking etc), and a participants meeting on 23 Sept for all attendees (to coordinate car pooling as required, gear to pack etc).
