Choose FairTrade
Several years ago our church here at Blackwood committed to being a FairTrade Church. Over the years we have served FairTrade tea and coffee at functions including morning tea after the 9.15 worship. Some of our community now buy FairTrade tea and coffee available at most supermarkets, and make an informed decision to go out for coffee to cafes like Artisan and de la Paix in Blackwood as well as other cafes serving ethically grown coffee. By supporting FairTrade products we are doing something to help 3rd world manufacturers. Next time you crave a coffee, why not go FairTrade? 2013 BUC Justice Committee.
Chocolate anyone? Many of us will buy chocolate in some form or another for Easter. A list is available to provide information if we want to support FairTrade or ethically produced goods.
