The Blackwood Action Group has requested the church hold a meeting to enable them to inform church members and other interested persons of the reasons behind the push to relocate the War Memorial from the front of the church (on the Roundabout) to Waite Reserve alongside the Senior Citizens Centre near Coles. This meeting will be on Wednesday March 20, and will be held in the church from 7.30pm until approximately 8pm. All are welcome including members and nonmembers. The memorial has been in this location for over 80 years and our church has provided 24 hour support for Anzac Day Vigils for several years.
