As part of the SA History Festival this new brochure will feature historic landmarks and properties in the south Blackwood area – the Blackwood Uniting Church is one of the featured properties in this brochure which focuses on the early village settlement of that occurred in South Blackwood.

It will be launched by Mayor Michael Picton at 10.30am on Thursday May 2 at Waite Street Reserve.

Immediately following the launch there will be a bus tour of the walk route from 11am – 1pm.

Cost is $10 (bookings required) and includes a light morning tea at Gamble Cottage. If weather is inclement the launch will occur at the Blackwood Community Centre.
