Greetings from Taizé!

Here is some news from Jenni Price Hughes about their recent visit to Taizé, which Blackwood UC supported by donating some money towards the travel costs for a couple of aboriginal girls:

We have joined with around 2,400 others from around the world in this place where both solitude and community are offered, a place where our faith is deepened and we can encounter God. It has been an enriching, surprising and fruitful journey and soon we make our way back home. Your continued prayers for the 16 pilgrims are appreciated as we complete the final parts of this pilgrimage. We look forward to sharing with all of you more of our stories at the Taizé Sharing Night – everyone is welcome to come and hear the reflections of the pilgrims on Sunday August 4 at 7pm, Brougham Place Uniting Church.
