The Country Fire Service in conjunction with the Blackwood Uniting Church and the Blackwood/Belair & District Community Association invite you to a community Bushfire Ready Meeting on Tuesday November 12 at 6.30pm here at Blackwood UC.

The CFS will provide information and answer questions on Bushfire behavior, How houses burn, Property planning, Personal safety, and Community Firesafe Groups. Register your interest or obtain more information by contacting Riki in the office.

BUC will again be available on “Extreme” and “Catastrophic” fire risk days as a Bushfire Retreat where members of the community can gather in relative safety for as long as necessary. Please click this link for more information about this service offered by BUC.
