The first series of Continuing Learning, with the title “Engineering a City”, is a three-week presentation by Richard Venus covering some of the early heritage of the city of Adelaide.

The “Engineering a City” talk has been described as a “social history” of Adelaide. Having heard of the need for water and the machinations surrounding electricity supply, we look forward to hearing this week of the industries that developed in the city centre.
