The next book we are discussing is After Darkness by Christine Piper. It tells the experiences of a Japanese doctor, who was working among the pearl divers in Broome when war against Japan broke out. In 1942, he was arrested and sent to the Loveday Internment Camp in S.A., among others from different nationalities.
