Focus on NAIDOC Week 2015 with Jordan Sumner
We all Stand on Sacred Ground:
Learn, Respect & Celebrate
This Sunday, July 5th at both the 9:15am and 11:00am services, we will be using the opportunity of NAIDOC*, the first week of July, to celebrate indigenous cultures and contribution amongst us. We are very glad to have Jordan Sumner, a young Aboriginal Leader, join us to mark this occasion in our national life. He will tell his story of living in this land as an indigenous person.
Jordan is a Ngarrandjeri person who works in Aboriginal Health and has been selected to attend an international conference in France in August as a representative of his people.
We will offer our support by having a further offering next Sunday as opportunity towards Jordan’s travel expenses for this purpose.
