Stand in solidarity to raise awareness around Australia’s treatment of Asylum Seekers. This is non-violent action hoping to gather energy in the Australian community for change (please only participate if you are willing to act in a non-violent and respectful manner). On Monday, 20th July at 5:30 for a 6pm start (likely finishing by 7:30pm) at Torrens Footbridge (Elder Park end). It will be a Silent Vigil to raise awareness. We will be linking arms and standing in silence – everyone welcome to take part – spread the word! Pleease also be aware that this is before the start of a football match. Keep this in mind as you organise your travel plans.
