The next Wednesday Stillpoint Quiet Day will be on March 23rd. The day commences, for those who like an early start, at 7:30am with prayer and meditation. For those who prefer a later start or who can’t stay for the whole day you are welcome to come at any time. The day will conclude at 4:30pm.

As this Quiet Day is in Holy Week there will be special resources available to guide your reflection in this time. The first focuses on Palm Sunday with the theme “Choosing for Life.” The second is on Good Friday, “Facing Our Many Deaths” and the last is on Easter Day, “Rising to New Life”.

For those perhaps unfamiliar with a Stillpoint Quiet Day, there are no formal sessions as such. You are invited to enter into the silence in whatever way is helpful for you. During the day there are times when we stop for prayer, and at lunch time, for meditation and Communion.

Tea and coffee are available and you are welcome to bring your lunch if you are staying for a longer period of time.
