Monday this week Blackwood hosted the farewell funeral service of dear friend and member of our 11:00 a.m. worshipping community, Joy Smith. It was a fitting tribute to Joy’s life of service, particularly through netball.

Our thanks to the many Blackwood people who helped provide a significant and much-enjoyed morning tea for Joy’s family and friends. This is an appreciated gesture of kindness and support in time of sadness.
