A reminder for the Community –

Sunday by Sunday Phil begins his thoughts on the Lectionary [the set reading for the week] as the basis for his messages in worship. These are posted on the Blackwood web site as a ‘starter’ for worship leaders, but may also be helpful for Bible Study or personal reflection. Called “Looking Aheads”, these also provide a written outline of Phil’s Sunday messages. They are intended to be the ‘exegesis’, the engagement with and exploration of the text as a resource for the community. There is now almost a full set to cover the three (3) year cycle of the Lectionary.
