Come on a walk into Brownhill Creek participating in a fundraiser for Lung Cancer organised by Rick and Helen Irving.

Two Local History Walks in Mitcham – Love Your Lungs Club Walks

“We will venture into the hidden valleys of the Brownhill Creek, to discover a less well-known history of Mitcham, in a very scenic and semi-rural area very close to the busy normality of suburban Mitcham.”

Meet at the historic Manure Pits (see map below). To get to there, follow Brown Hill Creek Road as far as the Tilley’s Hill Ford (it’s the only one). Turn right at the Ford and follow the road. We will meet at 1.15pm on Sunday 24th September for a 1:30 get away into the Brownhill Creek Valleys. Coffee in Mitcham afterwards. Queries to Phil Megaw 0417 874 114.
