Christmas is coming all too quickly!

Many of the people we see find Christmas particularly difficult because they are not able to provide their families with very much in the way of extra food or gifts.

Through your kindness and generosity Beacon provides approximately 25 hampers to local people; these include basic foodstuffs, e.g. tinned fish, meat, vegetables, rice or pasta, and some ‘Christmas foods’ and at least one gift for each member of the household.

This helps to make Christmas much more of a celebration for the people we have helped during the year.

Beacon is a project of the Mitcham Hills Inter Church Council and is dedicated to assisting people in the local area in need of emergency assistance.
