Kyton’s Fundraiser

This term at the Community Classes we are holding a Kyton’s Winter Warmer Fundraiser.  I will leave some order forms out for the congregation in the Church foyer.  Orders are due in by the 15^th August and will be delivered on the 22^nd August.  We would love your support in this fundraiser.

BatchCooking Classes

Also, the Community Classes have received a grant from the Mitcham Council for our BatchCooking Classes.  We are planning on holding a “Big Dish Up” Seniors program starting 28^th August and running for 4 weeks.  If anyone is interested in cooking hearty traditional meals for the week instead of living on “tea and toast”, please see Jacqui for more details.

Poppy Display

We are currently upgrading the Poppy Display for the War Memorial in preparation for Remembrance Day.  The display was looking a little sad from being out in the weather so we have dismantled it and are now sewing new poppies onto shade cloth.  Therefore, we are looking for people to knit and or crochet poppies again.  If you would like a pattern, please see Jacqui.
