Because we work across denominations through the National Council of Churches.

Because our gifts for aid are distributed through churches and church agencies in countries we are helping .(in Zimbabwe  our partners are Zimbabwe’s Council of Churches, in  Southern  Sudan which has been broken by conflict , through NCA ( Norwegian Church Aid).

Because Blackwood has a long and proud history of support. ( We have often been the most generous UCA congregation in S.A.).

At the door , see the church’s CHRISTMAS BOWL carved from Poplar by Patrick Brown some quarter century back.  Our envelopes can be left there !
