Join Rev Prof Andrew Dutney at the Uniting College for Leadership and Theology as he launches his latest book ‘Angels in the Wilderness’.

The Uniting Church in Australia has always thought of itself as part of God’s pilgrim people. It expects its social and cultural surroundings to be continually changing as it moves forward. It understands that the church will be constantly adapting to the new challenges and opportunities for mission at each stage of the journey.

In this book, Andrew invites us to take our bearings. Where is the Uniting Church in the Australian society now? What have we been learning on the journey so far? What will build in us the resilience we need to continue as people of God on the way to the promised end?

Andrew’s book will launch at 4.30pm. Drinks and nibbles will be supplied.
