Adelaide: Solidarity with Minneapolis! Justice for George Floyd
Saturday, 6^th June – 12pm to 1:30pm

The vicious murder of George Floyd has sparked heroic uprisings across the US. The movement has unleashed the built-up anger at a system that murders Black and working people in cold blood. The power of ordinary people is on display. They have seized and destroyed police precincts, the centres of state repression, and forced an arrest of Derek Chauvin, one of Floyd’s murderers. Black, Brown and other working-class people are fighting back against a system that doesn’t care whether they live or die, forcing the White House to go into lockdown and bridges in Chicago to be raised. This is colossal moment in history.

Join the Adelaide Campaign Against Racism and Fascism and Sosblakaustralia as we rally in solidarity with those fighting for justice in the USA.

This rally will be meeting at the northern end of Tarndanyangga (Victoria Square).

We are also rallying in protest of police violence, racism, and the murder of black people in this country, and in solidarity with the Aboriginal liberation struggle.
