As per Government requirements a COVID SAFE PLAN is in place for Blackwood Uniting Church and all groups who hire rooms also have plans in place. From Friday 21^st all churches will need to appoint a COVID Marshal(s) who has completed the required online training and will be visually identified as a COVID Marshal. Several people have already volunteered and we thank Penny Harper for taking the first stint this Sunday.

To make the marshal’s job easier, it’s important we all remember some of the key practices to stay safe:
– sign-in on arrival
– hand-washing/sanitizing
– safe distancing (couples/households can sit together)
– no handshakes or hugs – get creative to greet each other!
– soft singing or humming only
– changes to morning tea – everything to be provided by the coffee/tea
makers, incl milk, sugar & biscuits.
