The next meeting of our church  book club is on Tuesday April 20^th , at 2pm, at the home of Stan White, 56A Brighton Pde. Blackwood (ph: 8 278 7898).
We shall discuss Bruce Pascoe’s book Dark Emu, which argues that European colonists grossly undervalued the culture and achievements  of the aboriginal occupants they displaced, who “ did build houses, did build dams, did sow, irrigate and till the land, did sew their clothes, and did construct a system of pan-continental government that generated peace and prosperity”.
