We have a wonderful seminar coming up on Tuesday 21^st September at Blackwood Uniting Church. The presenter is Davlyn Hale and the topic is Aged Care Options.

Davlyn has been a Site Manager at several residential aged care facilities and a long-time consultant to the aged care industry. With her registered nursing, managerial and consulting background, Davlyn has a wealth of knowledge about the complex field of aged care.

The seminar will be of interest to anyone wanting a better understanding of the various care support options available as we age, ranging from at-home to supported living to residential aged care. There will be opportunities to ask Davlyn questions of relevance to your particular circumstances, or those of loved ones.

I had the privilege of working as a chaplain in residential age care sites managed by Davlyn, and working with her on a daily basis. I am so thrilled that she has agreed to run this seminar at Blackwood Uniting Church. Not only is Davlyn a razor-sharp, articulate font of knowledge about this area, but she is a wonderfully warm-hearted and engaging person. Okay, I’m biased. Guilt as charged.
