The Uniting Church Historical Society of SA
The Society is the Synod’s agency for holding the past and present histories, records and archival material of our congregations and institutions in SA. It is an important activity that helps the Church understand how our past informs our present and our future life and ministries.
The Society has its History Centre located in East Avenue, Forestville, is well served by its managers and volunteers but is presently seeking a Secretary to assist the Council and its Executive in the oversight of its function and program.
If a history loving person in the congregation would like to enquire about the role, contact Dr Judith Raftery on 0422 101 879 or Rev David Houston on 0413 349 066. Or, should you know someone in another congregation who may have an interest invite them to make the contact.
