Now…as well as enjoying Thelma’s reflections on decades of progressive Christian thought, I hope that reading this study will inspire you to your own reflections.

The invitation is there for you to think about something related to faith, theology, the Bible, lived experience or understanding that has:- inspired you or troubled you; enlightened you or puzzled you; comforted you or pained you; attracted you or repelled you. How might you invite others into your own reflections on this subject? Why not put pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard, and get down your thoughts?

I want to reiterate that I’m not advocating a “Cookie-Cutter” approach to this study series: I am not expecting, nor wanting, these studies to be clones of each other. Far from it! I want contributors to this study series to approach this from their own unique perspective, rather than trying to emulate what someone else may have written. However you wish to approach the particular subject you’ve chosen will be just fine.

Oh, and by the way, don’t worry about formatting the document you put together. Just the text is fine (unless you have specific images that tie in) and we can work out the rest. To get the creative juices flowing, here are a bunch of possible topics or, even better, pick something of your own creation!
