The Christmas holiday period is now truly upon us, and there is a number of housekeeping things to be attended to.

The office will be closed from 4pm Thursday 22^nd of December and will reopen on Tuesday 10^th of January. If you require any assistance during this time, please either phone the BUC and leave a message on the answering machine or email office@blackwooduc.org.au

Should you require worship resources for January services, please can you request these by Tuesday 20^th of December so that I can ensure you receive them in a timely fashion.

Any donations to any particular group i.e. Ukraine refugees or for packing day will be accepted after the office reopens, we are unable to do so during the holiday break.

Additionally, during January, I will be updating the BUC contact directory. If you have recently changed address, or plan to do so, please drop me a line so that I can make any alterations.

Next week will be our final newsletter for both 2022 and until February. I look forward to putting people’s news in our lovely tome next year. If you have articles you would like to add, don’t forget that the deadline for submission is Thursday 9am each week.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you. My first 7 months here at the fondly named BUC has been nothing short of wonderful. You have all been patient, kind and exhibited a wonderful sense of humour as I’ve learned the ropes. I have felt both embraced and supported, especially as this year has had some deep sadness for me with the loss of my best friend and Dad.

So, from me, and my family, to all of you and your families, wherever this season finds you, may you have many small joys and much peace in your world.
