The church have just received a grant from the State Government’s “2022-23 Community Sheds Funding Round” for the amount of $16,821 (+GST). This is specifically for the shed fit out including air conditioning, paving, shelving, benches etc.

This is an amazingly generous and timely offer which will be put to use as soon as possible. Thanks to all who helped put this together, especially the office of Catherine Hutchesson MP who suggested we apply for it, as they were very aware of the programmes we have been running.

 We’ve had some terrific news in that a grant application submitted to the state government by BUC has been approved. Some $16,000 has been awarded to the Bike Shed, and will be used in a variety of ways to fit out the newly built shed.

Well done to grant writer, Peter Cranwell, our marvellous Property Committee and those terrifically generous and enthusiastic volunteers that make our Bike Shed, ably led by coordinator Peter Jones, such a vibrant group!
