Mitcham Art Advisory Group
Council is seeking expressions of interests from people who live or work within the City of Mitcham with a passion and knowledge of community and public art for membership of the Mitcham Art Advisory Group (MAAG).
The purpose of MAAG is to advise Council on significant public or community art projects, particularly providing recommendations on the awarding of public art grants and other matters.
MAAG is an advisory body, and their recommendations will guide Council on decisions relating to public art
Membership
The membership of MAAG will consist of community members who have demonstrated interest/experience in community/public art, or other relevant skills and experience. The group will meet a minimum of two times a year or more as decided by the Group. Membership on MAAG does not attract an allowance. Members of MAAG are not able apply for Public Art Grants during their two-year term on MAAG. Diversity in membership is encouraged through the recruitment and selection process.
