Friends, I am delighted to tell you I have received and accepted a call to be Minister in placement with Christ Church Uniting, Wayville. The placement begins in August 2023. It is part time, so I will continue to write, teach, and lead workshops and retreats, time and energy permitting. And will visit Blackwood when I can!

I start in August because I am providing supply ministry at Pilgrim Uniting from mid-May through July while Rev John Hughes is on Long Service Leave.

My last Sunday worshipping with Blackwood for this season will be next Sunday, 7 May.

I am deeply grateful to my Blackwood faith family for your care this past year. You have held me in my healing this year, as you have held me in my discerning and answering the call into ordained ministry, my venturing into new territory and stories. Thank you.

I have been hurt, by the actions of a few in recent years. And more, I have been healed, held, home, with the love of many good folk in the Uniting Church.

I am grateful as my life and my being continued to mend.

You will always be ‘home’, and I am glad and proud to claim it.

I’ll let you know when the induction service is to be held, because I would love it if some of you are able to come and celebrate with us.
