May Messy Church
May’s Messy Church session was well-attended by several of our regular families and with our excitement, a new family joining us.
The families engaged in activities that all required practising their skills of patience, such as making rocky road with melted chocolate, and having to wait for it to solidify, building a marble maze which takes patience to navigate the marble through, the “marshmallow challenge”, and planting a seed that will require patience to wait for it to grow.
The children then were able to help portray Jesus’ parable of the Four Soils, from Mark 4 (vs 26-29), and they all seemed to very much enjoy being part of the show.
We’re looking forward to our next gathering, June 4 (4-6pm), which will be on the theme of Kindness. People of all ages are welcome to join us.
