At Hope’s Café, Norwood Parade (plenty of parking)
Refugee week is: Sunday 18 June to Saturday 24 June 2023.
Honouring Refugee Week, our topic for June will be:
How do we define ‘Freedom’ and what might be its ingredients?
Our presenters are a panel of ex-refugees. They will help us explore this topic, through a Q&A session and roundtable discussions.
A shared meal will complement our evening of explorations and our engagement with this challenge for our world. Meal costs are $10 – $15 cash; and a gold coin donation towards our venue will be appreciated.
Surplus funds/donations will be directed to the work our panel is involved with, as well as the work of Circle of Friends Australia Inc. (COFA). Donations to COFA Inc. are welcome via the website: www.COFA.org.au
Please give generously and within your means.
To let us know you are coming, please RSVP to Denise Martin (denise.martin@outlook.com or 0402 211580) by Monday evening 26 June to assist with meal-planning. Please include all dietary requirements in your RSVP.
