Community Forum on the Voice to Parliament
Update – the recording is now available: click here
This year, we have the chance to make history by enshrining an Indigenous Voice to Parliament. At this community forum, we will hear from a range of speakers and explore why a successful Referendum is an opportunity to begin to right the wrongs of our nation’s past, and make a significant different in the lives of Indigenous peoples. You will also have the opportunity, when you register, to submit questions, which will be gathered, sorted and the common themes addressed by the panel.
Our speakers for the panel are still being finalised, but one confirmed speaker will be Dr Rowan Nicholson, Lecturer in Constitutional and International Law at Flinders University.
Our aim at this community forum is to foster an inclusive environment where different opinions are valued and respected. Whether you have a deep understanding of the topic or are just starting to learn, this forum is for everyone, from all walks of life, to come together and learn more about the upcoming referendum.
