Karen and I, spending some time at Avebury, England, checking out standing stones, as are some others, rather more keenly than us. Apparently, Avebury is a magnet for modern-day Druids, who are converging on Avebury tonight, Halloween, aka All Hallows Eve, for a night of Druidic activities. As we didn’t get an invite, we went to the pub instead.
