“Sorry Stones”
A “sorry stone” is a stone from your garden with the word “sorry” written on it (if possible). We are inviting people to bring one to church. Those who are intending to go to Colebrook, can take it after the service to place on the land at Colebrook.
Those not coming to Colebrook can still bring one and we will take it to Colebrook on your behalf.
These stones are to symbolise our lament for the stolen people who were kept at Colebrook. Also by taking a stone from our garden, which we consider our home, and placing it on Colebrook land, we are acknowledging that our garden is on Kaurna land, which has never been ceded .
