On Thursday  30^th of May 2024 (the day the season broke), work on the first visible stages of the Blackwood Sensory Garden began in earnest. Lots has been going on behind the scenes, but now its existence is actually visible which is super exciting and all thanks to the dedicated team who donned wet weather gear and got into it.

Thanks to Joan for the cake and biscuits. Thanks to Mark Williams, Russell Grear, Phil Marlow, Pete Smith, Peter Cranwell for an amazing transformation. 3 big beds in, 3 more to go!

Please avoid the piles of soil and fill in the carpark. We’ll keep you updated about the BUC Sensory Garden in real time as progress happens.
