Compassionate Care for One Another

AFCNA is offering a one-day course in compassionate care for one another.

NB: This is for everyone, not just for nurses.

Where: Blackwood Hills Baptist Church

Date: Friday June 28th from 9 am – 3.30 pm.

The program will offer a ‘deep dive’ into 4 key themes (see brochure for details):

• Why we need compassionate care – context and biblical principles
• Who we care for – ‘whole’ person care and a theology of care
• How and when we can be most helpful – needs and strength-based care
• What practical responses work effectively – pastoral conversations and powerful question
• Q&A discussion & practice included throughout

The cost is $50 and $30 concession includes refreshments, lunch and course notes
