Final Messy Church for 2025.
Messy Church is such a wonderful blessing to be a part of every time. The families come together and get to enjoy some of the best things about being a part of the Church (in my opinion) – company of other people, encouragement to be creative and joyful in being human and childlike, sharing of stories and sharing of food!
This year we focused on practises within the Christian Church, and in November we looked at Communion. Some photos below show some of what we got up to, including a beautiful sharing from Malcolm McArthur.
Our Messy Christmas session was also a wonderful time, but sadly I have no photo evidence.
The next year of Messy Church may feel a bit different at first, but will still be very familiar and a comfortable, welcoming, joyful gathering of families and people of the Blackwood Uniting Church. I am thankful for the team that will keep things rolling, in the ways they did before I joined them, and thankful for the families who stepped up in the past year as we have had fewer volunteers available.
All the best!
