The difference your gifts to the Christmas Bowl are making:
Your generous gifts are helping to enhance community awareness of the importance of girls’ education which leads to increased female school enrolments. More young girls have been able to progress through to secondary school and university level education.
With your help, Act for Peace’s partner also improves school facilities and develops the capacity of teachers to improve the quality of schools and the quality of learning. Communities are now better able to understand key social, political, economic, and cultural issues ranging from topics like democracy and human rights. These are key steps toward developing a more inclusive and fair society.
Girls’ education has a huge impact on all of society. If all girls had a primary education, there would be 14% fewer child marriages.
$470 can help train female teachers in Afghanistan and provide a brighter future for girls.
