BBDCA Community Forum & AGM
OUR HILLS VOLUNTEERS performing ESSENTIAL SERVICES on our behalf
7:30pm Wednesday, 26th April at BUC
You are invited to attend the AGM (7:30 to 8pm) and at 8:10pm to hear from several volunteers giving brief descriptions of their important group activities on behalf of the Mitcham Hills community.
There are many associations which give relaxation, intellectual stimulus and a chance to get to know other residents but there are also those associations which give the community more peace of mind. These include:-
- The CFS
- Friends of Parks – Mitcham Hills is surrounded by state parks and reserves – Belair National Park, Blackwood Forest, Sturt Gorge and Shepherds Hill Recreation Park
- Meals on Wheels – a necessity for many isolated and frail elderly still living at home
- The Lions Service Club – for their hard work in raising funds for essential services – one of many such associations.
